HOW IT WORKS
A process designed
around you
Wedding cakes are a deeply personal commission and deserve proper time and care. The process below is how we make sure your cake is perfect — every time, without exception.

ENQUIRY
Fill out the wedding enquiry form
Tell us your wedding date, your guest count, your budget, and anything else that matters to you. We'll check availability and come back to you within 48 hours.

BOOKING FEE
Reserve your date
A £100 booking fee secures your date and books your consultation. Until this is paid, your date remains available, so we always recommend doing this as soon as you're ready to commit.

PRE-CONSULTATION
Fill out a short form
Before we meet, we'll ask you to fill in a pre-consultation questionnaire, details about your day, your aesthetic, your flavour preferences. It means we can make the most of our time together. You'll receive your pre-consultation form 2 weeks before the consultation.

TASTING & CONSULTATION
Taste, meet and plan
You'll receive your samples just before your consultation so your can try them beforehand. We meet in person or over Google Meet to finalise every detail — tiers, flavours, design, finish.
Consultations are scheduled in February, May, and September to align with the wedding season and give your cake the design time it deserves.

DESIGN & QUOTE
Receive your quote, and pay first instalment
After the consultation we'll send your design brief and final quote. A 30% non-refundable instalment is due. Then you can leave it all with us.

FINAL PAYMENT
One month before your wedding
The remaining balance is due four weeks before your date. We'll be in touch to confirm all the details and reassure you everything is on track.

YOUR WEDDING DAY
We deliver & set up, you enjoy the day
Unless agreed otherwise, we deliver and set up your cake the morning of your wedding. All you need to do is enjoy the day.

Every wedding cake is bespoke, so the figures below are starting points. Your final quote will reflect the tiers, design complexity, finish, and any additional elements.

All prices are starting points only for an iced buttercream cake — your final quote is personalised after consultation. A £100 date-reservation fee and 30% deposit apply. Favours, dessert tables, and dessert cart are quoted separately.
CAKE TASTING AND CONSULTATIONS

Every couple who books with a wedding cake is invited to have a tasting and consultation included as part of the process. You'll receive a sample box of six cake slices to try at home, and then we'll sit down together (in person or over Google Meet) to go through every detail of your cake. The flavours, the design, the finish, the feeling you want it to give.
It's a proper conversation, not a sales pitch. We want to understand your day, not just your cake, so that everything we create feels completely, unmistakably yours.
SPRING / EARLY SUMMER
WEDDINGS
February tastings & consultations
Expect to receive your pre-consultation form at the end of January. We will have our consultation early/mid-February.
LATE SUMMER / AUTUMN
WEDDINGS
May tastings & consultations
Expect to receive your pre-consultation form at the end of April. We will have our consultation early/mid-May.
WINTER & NEW YEARS
WEDDINGS
September tastings & consultations
Expect to receive your pre-consultation form at the end of August. We will have our consultation early/mid-September.
We run consultations at set points in the year so we can dedicate proper time to every couple, this means no rushing, no cutting corners. Each session lasts 60–90 minutes and is your time, unhurried. You will recieve your samples approximately 1 week before your consultation.
