930 Cupcakes and Counting: Our Ongoing Partnership with Active PR representing Redrow Homes

Some collaborations arrive unexpectedly and end up becoming a huge part of our journey. Our work with Redrow Homes is exactly that. Back in April 2023, their PR company found our website, reached out, and, much to our surprise and delight, put their complete trust in us. At that point, we were total strangers to them, we didn't have an online presence, we were complete unknowns but they gave us a chance. And we delivered.
And we must have delivered well, because the orders haven’t stopped since.
From a First Order to an Ongoing Relationship

That first project marked the start of what has now become a long-running partnership. Over the past couple of years, we’ve produced an aggregation of 930 cupcakes for Redrow across multiple events and locations. With the exception of their New Year party catering and Pride cupcakes, almost all of these have been logo-branded cupcakes, used at show home launches all across the North West.
There’s something incredibly rewarding about knowing our bakes are part of key milestones, handing over a new show home, welcoming visitors to a new estate, or marking a launch day. The cupcakes might be small, but the moments feel big.
Scaling Up Without Losing the Handmade Touch
Producing cupcakes at this scale, dozens upon dozens per order, repeatedly, has been a brilliant exercise in precision. Every cupcake needs to look identical in quality, finish, and branding, and that consistency is something we take huge pride in.
Even though the volume is high, nothing we do is automated. No factory machinery. No conveyor belts. Just us, our oven, and our process. And yet, each batch is crafted to match the last perfectly. It’s the kind of work that only comes from repetition, refinement, and a lot of passion.
A Small Upgrade with a Big Impact: Individual Cupcake Boxes
One of the most exciting changes we’ve made with Active PR recently, is upgrading our logo cupcakes to be individually boxed. This might sound like a small detail, but it’s made a huge difference, especially for Redrow’s show home events.
Guests and visitors can now take their cupcake away safely, without smudging the icing or worrying about it getting crushed on the journey home. It makes the cupcake feel like a proper little gift, something special to enjoy in their own time. It’s these thoughtful touches that elevate a branded treat into a memorable experience.
More Than Just Cupcakes

Beyond the logo launches, we’ve also created bespoke cupcakes for Redrow’s staff New Year celebrations and Pride events, which have been some of the most joyful projects to take on.
We always love seeing big brands celebrate inclusivity and community spirit, and being part of that feels genuinely meaningful.
What started as one email from a PR company in 2023 has grown into a relationship we’re incredibly grateful for. Nearly a thousand cupcakes later, we still get excited every time their name pops into our inbox.
